Hey guys! Today I'll be talking about my experience for my Root Canal Surgery.
It was really painful, before the surgery. The bacteria was literally eating up my tooth and it hurts like hell, I couldn't even sleep for the whole night! I had to drink water every once in a while (it's a good thing, but the bad thing is that it hurts), so I immediately went to the dentist and finally fixed my tooth.
ROOT CANAL SURGERY
Okay, so what is root canal surgery?
Basically, the bacteria eats up a tooth and it forms a big hole.
Root canal surgery means adding a particular substance in the hole and filling the hole.
It sounds painful, but it actually isn't. Of course, it visually looks painful, but in real life, it doesn't hurt at all.
What do they do?
First, they check your teeth for any problems.
Then, the dentist used a tranquilizer that contains anaesthetic (a type of substance that makes a part of your body numb) to inject my left gum (it does not hurt, it just feels like an ant biting you). Several seconds later, your gum feels very numb. Basically, every part of your mouth feels numb, but your body doesn't, just the mouth.
Then, I rinsed my mouth with water a few times.
Then, the dentist inserted a suction in my mouth.
The dentist then used all these tools that I am not sure of (there were some metal objects as well, which almost made me feel paranoid than I already am).
You won't even feel a slight pain, trust me. You just lie down there, heck yeah you can even sleep there, with your mouth opened so the dentist can do his job.
The 'fake' tooth tastes like cement (weird right?), but it isn't poisonous, obviously. I can tolerate the hideous taste, but after a few days, the taste was completely gone and disappeared.
For the last time, it does not even hurt a tiny bit! What you have to worry though is the MONEY! My parents paid $800 freaking dollars for that.
Other than that, you'll be fine.
