[REVIEW] THE FACE SHOP: Trendy Nails Basic Original

Hello guys! I am back with my blogpost on THE FACE SHOP's Nail Collection: Trendy Nails Basic Original in the colour 'Falling in Love' (Merlot Purple) and the Top Coat.

I got these nail polish colours from Penang, Malaysia at the Gurney Plaza. They were definitely cheaper than the ones sold in Brunei so I decided to buy them, along with my Lovely ME:EX Nail Polish Remover '01 Pink'. It actually smells nice.

I decided to buy them because the Merlot Purple looked very beautiful, edgy and classy-looking. I also need a Top Coat and a Nail Polish Remover so yeah.

1. 'Falling in Love' (Merlot Purple) by The Face Shop's Trendy Nails Basic Original Collection

While applying this colour, it was very smooth and gentle on my nails. It's like I'm not even applying anything on my nails! The Merlot Purple was very pigmented and vibrant, which I adore about it the most because I have non-vibrant colours so this is like a bonus.

• Review:

It dries really fast and you only need to apply less than 3 coats on your nail to get the perfect opaque look on your nails. It dries faster than their 'Face It' collection because I have ALL the nail collections from The Face Shop (except for the Gel Nail Polish Colours).

East to apply, vibrant and opaque colour, very pretty colour, fast to dry, smooth and gentle.

Another thing is that I love the rectangular shape of the bottle because most of my bottles are oval, circle, hearts, whatever shapes.

I love that it's simple and inexpensive.
It gives off a very shiny finish as well (I'm sorry it looks blur in this picture, my camera is unstable today).

2. Top Coat by The Face Shop's Trendy Nails Basic Original Collection

• Review:

Just an ordinary top coat that dries pretty fast and has a shiny finish.

It's what I've been looking for. I've been using over 7 top coats including Sally Hansen and Revlon. This top coat, so far is giving me good vibes so I'm quite satisfied with this.

Overall Comment:
I am, so far loving this Nail Collection. I was really getting tired of their white cap bottles. I just generally like simple rectangular shaped bottles (not meant for drinking but for cosmetic/nail bottles), I personally think it's cute. I was very satisfied with this collection. Nothing can go wrong with these nail polish colours and I think I will be purchasing more of the colours from this collection very soon.
