[REVIEW] Sleek Makeup i-Divine Shadow Palette in i-Candy (Limited Edition)

Hello guys! I am back with another blogpost!

It's been so long since I reviewed an eyeshadow palette since February.
I purchased this online several months ago online through ShopandBox.com (thanks to Joel, my personal shopper from the U.K) and the package arrived in April. I technically bought this because it had my name on it and I really wanted to try out Sleek Makeup.

I was honestly expecting a bigger palette, but it was so small, the whole palette is literally the size of my hand. It is limited edition, unfortunately so... You won't be able to pick this up. :(

My shopper, Joel from the U.K helped me pick this up from Superdrug in the U.K and sent it over here through airmail. I have also done ShopandBox.com when I bought my stuff from Japan before.

There are 12 colours in this palette. I am meant to buy a bright-coloured palette as I do not own one.

When I bought this palette, my black eyeshadow got cracked (unfortunately) as you can see the picture below. I assume while it was in a process of shipping, it got cracked so I was very devastated with the poor service of U.K's international shipping service.
Here are the swatches of all the colours:

  • Review:
-I am quite impressed with the pigmentation of the shades as because it was very affordable. The colour pay-off was okay as well. I absolutely love the colours that have shimmers in them like Bon Bon, Aniseed, Apple Sour, Cream Soda, etc. because there are super pigmented compared to the matte shades. It was easy to apply it on the lids/eyes and it's easy to blend. With one swipe, it's pretty pigmented, but if you want a more vibrant look, put more than 2 layers of the eyeshadow for more of an opaque look.

What sort of ticked me off was that it's limited edition, which means it's sold out permanently, like forever. Another thing was that there were 3 greens, 3 pinks, 2 purples and no yellow or red. It's only right if they included yellow or red because they are common bright colours. Instead, in this palette, it has 3 greens and 3 pinks, which is quite unnecessary.

The shimmer shades have better colour pay-offs compared to the mattes.

As I said, the colour pay-off is very good, as I said before. There are two particular shades that were not as pigmented or vibrant as the other shades:

Bubble Gum and Mint Cream
I was very disappointed with these 2 shades.

Would I repurchase it? If it wasn't limited edition, there might be a chance that I may repurchase it again but since it's limited edition, no one can get hold of this product so...

Overall Comment:
It is overall an okay product. It's a great addition to my eyeshadow palette collection because it is one of the only palette that I own that has bright-coloured eyeshadows. It's inexpensive and it's pigmented so yeah, it's pretty cool.
