[REVIEW] Skin Food Salmon Darkcircle Cream Concealer

Hello everyone! I'm back with another blogpost.

School just started on the 4th of January, 2016 so I'm not going to blog that much because I'll be very busy with school, as well as tuition classes and the most important part is that I'm going to be graduating this year so I'll be sitting for my GCE O'Levels this year. I apologise in advance for that.

So let's get on with the review!
This concealer was recommended by joankeem on YouTube and she claimed that it's one of her favourite dark circle concealer of all time. This concealer is specifically targeted for the dark circles instead of for blemishes, pimples, acne, blackheads or scars.
It is a pot concealer. It is cute and I like the packaging because it looks fancy, but hygiene-wise? Not really.
This is how the shade looks like. Mine is in #1 Light. It only comes with two shades, unfortunately so if you're way darker than #2 Natural, this might not work for you. If you're slightly darker than shade #2 Natural, it's okay because under-eye concealers are meant to be one to two shades lighter or fairer than your actual skin tone.
I have to say this but I'm quite impressed. For the price and the quality? It's pretty good. It definitely covers the under-eye dark circles or eye bags very well. With one swipe or one application, all of the dark circles that were visible were covered completely. It does not have a grey-tone or yellow-tone. It's just perfect for people with yellow undertone or pink undertone. The coverage of this concealer is full since it is a concealer after all.

It suits my skin tone very well (just slightly fairer). It is creamy, but it doesn't move around. It's not very dewy or matte, it's in between. It also blends pretty well. The formulation is not bad too, but the texture is very thick.
the comparison

As you can see, I don't really have dark circles or under-eye bags because I was just born that way (lol) but there is a pretty huge difference right there.

The only downside is that it smells a little bit... plastic-y. The smell only lasts for at least a minute so it's quite okay. You won't smell it after that. The longevity is not so bad. It does sort of wear off after like one whole day but this product is still quite promising.

Price: 7,800KRW
Store Location: Skin Food branches
How much product/heavy: 10g
Would I repurchase it? I think there are loads of good concealers out there with much better coverage, better skin-match, better scent, better formula and higher longevity for a good price so I will go with a no, even though this product is quite good for its price.

Overall Comment:
I do like this product, but I'm not crazy about it. It does do its job well like in covering the dark circles and blending and whatnot, but I did not sense anything special about it. Maybe because of the smell or the longevity or the texture that are probably not my cup of tea. But talking about the concealer and its effectiveness overall, it's actually a pretty decent product. If you have just started being interested in beauty or just want to find an under-eye concealer that is under $10, definitely check out this concealer.

Pros:
-suitable for people with red undertone
-medium to high coverage
-blends well
-not too drying or too oily
-good finish

Cons:
-weird smell
-not very hygienic
-only works well on under eyes, not on blemishes, scars, red areas
-comes with 2 shades only (all very fair)
