[REVIEW] Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Pore Clay Mask

Hey guys! I'm back again with another blogpost. This time, it's skin care!
I was planning to buy the Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask version, but I ended up purchasing the wrong one after I went back to my hotel room in Seoul. T.T Yes, they're both quite different, not really the same.

The one I got is to control the excess sebum of the skin while the Super Volcanic one treats pores. See, there's a difference? Also, the Super Volcanic one is 2,000KRW more expensive compared to the Jeju Volcanic one. I was little bit upset with my carelessness but I just went with it because I don't think they accept returns.
(the original packaging of this product which is 100ml, mine is 200ml. I got the bigger size because I feel that it's more worth it to get the bigger one)

This product claims that it'll control the excess sebum as well as the impurities, brighten and correct the skin tone and give you clearer skin. Let's see if it does.

Anyway, the product is grey in colour, much like a volcano in Jeju.
The texture is very creamy but when you touch the product, it's clay.
As a person with naturally oily skin, I can really tell that it really did remove the excess oil and sebum off from my face. Somehow, my face felt more of a satin to matte finish after rinsing the product off after 20 minutes of apply it. It also did brighten my skin and made it super soft. It's a natural brightener, I guess.
The good thing about this product is that it's made of natural ingredients from Jeju Island. You won't have to worry about the product containing countless of chemicals, because it's certified to be natural. This product also reduces my redness and hyper-pigmentation. It really did even out my skin tone a lot.

Also, the little bumps on my face did sort of reduce and became flatter. I felt my skin became clearer and cleaner. I really did not expect much from this product because I always thought the Super Volcanic one was going to work so well while this one is going to disappoint me because Innisfree actually did upgraded this product to Super Volcanic.
It also doesn't dry out the skin so much and stiffened the face. It doesn't crack or anything, don't worry. The only problem with this product is that when you rinse it off with water, it's quite difficult because it feels like the product just sticks or holds onto the skin and you'll have to rub with a little bit of pressure to get it off.

With better application, use an old foundation brush to apply this instead of using your fingers.
Just wet the brush before dipping the brush into the product.

Price: 20,000KRW for 200ml (12,000KRW for 100ml)
Store Location: Innisfree branches, InnisfreeWorld.com (online)
Size/Amount of Product: 200ml
Would I repurchase this? I don't think I would, because well, I have a lot of products that help mattify, remove excess sebum and control it as well as brightening the skin so... But it is a great product that it is quite effective (in a way) and I just like to try different products and experiment with them instead of sticking with the same stuff (unless it's a really really good product).

Pros:
-removes excess sebum and oil
-brightens skin
-corrects/even out skin tone
-better complexion
-clears the skin
-clean feeling
-reduces redness/hyper-pigmentation
-affordable
-more suitable for oily to combination skin

Cons:
-difficult to rinse off product
-not suitable for dry skin
-results might only appear after using it a few times

Overall Comment:
It's a great product to experiment with. It works, only after like a few times (at least 5-6 times). There were no instant results, but at least it worked. Better than I expected, to be very honest. Removes excess sebum, brightens skin, clear and even out skin tone. If you're looking for something that has instant results, it's not for you, but if you're patient and have oily skin, this is for you.
