[REVIEW] Essie Nail Polishes in 'Jiggle Hi, Jiggle Low' & 'Licorice'

Hey guys! I am back again with another blogpost on Essie nail polishes.

When I first bought it, I have no idea how much it was because the price wasn't stated on the shelf or the nail polishes itself, but when I went to the counter, oh boy. It was AU$16.95 each. I'm just like "Holy shit".
Jiggle Hi, Jiggle Low is actually part of Essie's Winter 2014 nail polish collection
This is a very beautiful metallic gold and silver nail polish colour that is 100% opaque and shimmery.
I picked this beautiful colour because I do not actually own a metallic and shimmery nail colour.
This is a jet black, super opaque black colour that is super pigmented and vibrant after one coat.
I also picked this black-coloured nail polish because I ran out of black.

  • Review:
JIGGLE HI, JIGGLE LOW:
When you first apply it onto your nails, it just glides smoothly without any bumps or awkward spots. The brush is big so it's easier to apply it. The colour pay-off is amazing and I just love it instantly. Love in first sight. It's really opaque after the first coat. 2nd coat looks just as amazing too. It's shimmery and metallic at the same time.

Also, drying time was 100% faster and it doesn't chip off easily. I'M SERIOUS. It just stays there even after a few days. All my nail polishes like The Face Shop or Etude House, their nail polishes just chip off after like a day or so. I just love this nail polish.

LICORICE:
So as I said, when you first apply it, the brush just glides easily. It's like wall painting, it's easy. Everything was the same except for the colour. Colour pay-off was also just as amazing. Opaque jet black. So pigmented and vibrant. I love it so much. It just leaves such a glossy finish without even applying top coat on.

  • How to apply it onto your nails?
-Obviously apply it directly onto your nails. Make sure you apply base coat before apply these nail polishes or any nail polishes in general, and after applying the nail polish, apply top coat after 10 mintues and leave it to dry for at least an hour.

  • Where can you purchase this product?
-I bought this from Priceline Pharmacy in Australia but you can buy it on the Essie online store, Amazon, Ebay, or Essie itself. Anywhere in the U.S.

  • How much was it?
-AU$16.95 (much cheaper in the U.S)

Overall Comment:
These nail polishes are the best nail polishes I've ever owned. It's beautiful, the packaging is really simple which I really like, the colour, the brush, the ARGH. Everything is just perfect. Drying time is fast and it doesn't chip off easily. Essie is the no.2 best nail polish brand in the world. If you're looking for nail polishes that last long, dries fast and has great colour (big collection and wide range of nail polish colours), Essie is the right brand for you. The only thing that sort of made me sad was the price, but I don't mind that.
