[REVIEW] Lush Cupcake Fresh Face Mask

Hey guys! I am back with another blogpost. 

This was a gift given by my mom from Sydney, Australia. I was so excited when she announced that she bought me a Lush facial product and it's none other than the Lush Cupcake Fresh Face Mask!

So it looks like this in the tub. It looks like a chocolate cupcake batter and man, it really smells like chocolate cupcake batter. It smells so good and pepperminty to the point where I had an urge to lick the 'batter' face mask. I swear, it smells so good. Everyone said so.

It has a not-very-creamy texture, not-so-liquid-y, but more like tough and solid (like an exfoliator). It was a little bit difficult to get the product out of the tub. Instead, the texture feels like cupcake batter.

• Review:

-I've used this twice and oh my goodness, it made my skin feel brighter and shinier (but not dewy). It did whiten my skin and got rid of some of my red and sensitive parts of my face (despite the brown consistency that made my skin whiter). 

It feels so cool and refreshing on my skin when I applied on it. It dries up like a minute or two after applying it onto the face, which makes it patchy and flaky (I meant the product, not the skin). After rinsing it off, it made my skin whiter (as I said before). It is also an exfoliator, which strips off the dead skin cells off your face.

I noticed my skin got brighter, whiter and made my skin look clean. I'm so impressed with this product. After applying it, the smell of the product just filled in the whole room. I was tempted to lick it but I don't wanna kill my body system so I held back (lol).

It's light and portable, so it's great for travelling (besides bringing sheet masks). I have to say that it's pricier in Australia compared to the U.S.

• How to apply it onto your face/skin?

-Cleanse your face first, then apply this product onto your face. Grab a generous amount of the product and spread it all over your face (avoiding the eye area, especially). Make sure that you don't put too much as well. 

After 10 minutes, rinse your face with warm or lukewarm water properly and then dab your face with a clean face towel.

*NOTE: Please put this product in your refrigerator.

Overall Comment:

Not only is this amazing, but it strips off all of the dead skins off your face. It's also good for people with oily skin as it dries up after a minute or two. It made my skin look healthier and it smells so good. The price though was quite costly so if you want to find a product that works well but you don't mind spending a little bit for a face mask, do try this out.

*NOTE: Make sure to finish this product in a span of a month or less than that because it expires very quickly. Check the backside of the product. It has the word written 'USE BY: XX/XX/20XX'. The date is written specifically at the back so please make sure to check it. It's a fresh face mask, it only applies to this particular product only.
