Hey guys! Sorry if I've been MIA for the past 2 weeks. I had a long test period and I needed to study and do some revision. I apologise. Anyways, I'm back with a different blog post (something a little different).
Here are the four BB creams that I have used for the past 4 years. Let's get on with it!
1. Holika Holika Aqua Petit Jelly BB SPF 12 Pa++ (#1)
One of the recent BB creams I purchased a few months ago is the best-selling product from Holika Holika, their Aqua Petit Jelly BB cream!
First of all, the packaging is so adorable and pretty, but unfortunately, it's unhygienic. Second, coverage is light-to-medium, which means it's buildable and you can layer it up as you apply it on. It has a very natural finish with a slight glow/sheen, but it is a semi-matte bb cream, but to be very honest, this bb cream is suitable for all skin types.
Skin match-wise is alright, but it can oxidise a little bit and transfers when you touch your face frequently. But, if you're on a budget and you're looking for a decent bb cream, this is not bad of a choice. The only other thing you have to know is that it only comes in two shades, which sucks so if you're any darker than shade number two, you're pooped. Plus, it's not very long-lasting, so you'll have to reapply it after a few hours.

2. Revlon Photoready BB Cream (#3 Medium)
Surprisingly, I did not like this at all. Why? Because first off, it smells disgusting. It has a very pungent smell, almost like burnt plastic, which is a turn off. When you squeeze out the product and apply it to your face, you can smell it. Even after 5 minutes of applying the product, you still can smell the awful smell. It's really difficult to get rid of the smell.
It is two shades darker than me (I bought two shades darker because I sometimes have my tan days). Second, when you squeeze out the product, a light pink liquid comes out of the tube with the product itself, which is again, disgusting. I'm not even sure what this pink liquid is supposed to be and if it's supposed to be here. The texture is literally like water + bb cream.
It's not because it has expired (which it hasn't, of course) but when I first used it, I was quite pleased, but after a few months, it turned out so bad, I had to stop using it and just leave it in the corner, unused.
But aside from the awful smell and the mysterious pink liquid, the coverage is light-to-medium and it has a very natural finish. It surprisingly blends well too. But because of the smell (it's really strong and pungent), I cannot use this anymore. Who knows what it'll do to my skin. I could not test out the longevity because of its smell.

3. Dr.G Blemish Balm BB Cream SPF 30 Pa++ (no shade)
Unfortunately, I do not have this on hand with me right now because I finished using this BB Cream last December 2015 so I posted a swatch picture of the BB Cream (I got it from online, I have already credited the owner of the picture, don't worry).

I have to say, this is by far the best BB Cream I've ever used. First off, it has sun protection which is a plus. It also has a medium coverage and a very natural finish. Great for all skin types and it blends very well.

Downside is that it might cause break-outs, depending on the condition of your skin and also, it might turn out a bit grey when you apply it. Also, it only has one shade and doesn't last very long. This was a little bit dark for me, but nevertheless the slightly different skin colour match did not look obvious at all.

This is the first BB cream I've ever purchased and so far, I think it's quite decent. This BB cream, unfortunately is not from a known brand. I'm not sure when it's from, but I have a feeling it's from Thailand.
Anyway, it has a light-to-medium coverage. For those who have oily-to-combination skin, you can try this out because the finish is matte. It might turn out cakey for those who have dry skin so I advise you guys not to try this out if you have dry skin.
It's quite easy to blend as well and you can definitely build this up, layer by layer. It's not very long-lasting, unfortunately. When I bought this, it comes with a lose powder so it's like a 2-in-1 kind of deal/offer (which is bomb). It's also quite affordable.

FINAL RESULT
So obviously the winner is Dr. G's Brightening Balm BB Cream SPF30 PA++ because it has everything I needed in a BB cream. The beauty about BB cream is that it has everything in one product like sun protection, coverage, anti-aging properties, heals the skin and has a natural-finish. This product has just about everything I need in one. At least it doesn't have an awful smell or anything like that.
