Hello guysss! It's been two weeks since I last updated my blog. I just had exams, tests, practicals and volunteering activities for these past two weeks, so you can tell that I've been incredibly busy. April was a month that almost made my head explode, but thankfully, it's over (which means in May, I'll be having more exams, boohoo).
Anyway, Banila Co. is quite a popular brand in Korea and has been raved about for quite some time now. It's definitely not a drugstore Korean brand, neither is it a high-end brand. It's more like middle-class. The prices from Banila Co. are quite reasonable, not cheap but not expensive either.
Their best-selling products are their HydroGel Masks, It Radiant CC Cream, Prime Primer Classic, Miss Flower and Mr. Honey Cream and last but not least, their No.1 product: Clean It Zero.
Since this product has been raved and hyped for quite some time now, I decided to take this to the test!
You might be wondering, what kind of name is that!? Well, it is a makeup remover with a balm consistency. This comes with a spatula so it's very hygienic-friendly and super convenient. You don't have to scoop the product out with your fingers.
The packaging is really neat! Super cute, feminine and girly. The quality of this packaging is great and it's made of ceramic.
I love it! This cleansing balm is my favourite makeup remover I've ever owned! It's so effective in removing makeup, really fast as well. Plus, it's super gentle and it has a balm texture to it.

The best part about this makeup remover is that it's 100%, super gentle on the skin. I rubbed the product around my eyes, and it didn't sting my eyes at all! All of my makeup removers that I have used in the past stung my eyes really badly and they were really painful to bear, but this makeup remover did not sting my eyes at all, which is a bonus point. I have sensitive eyes.
It does have a scent to it, but it's very fresh and pleasant, so it's not much of a big of a deal, thankfully. This makeup remover melts off the makeup immediately after you start rubbing your face with your fingers.
Even if it is an oil cleanser, this makeup remover is suitable for everybody (no matter if you have dry, oily, normal or combination skin type) and that's what I really like about this makeup remover. It melts, leaving the skin with an oily residue, but once you rinse it off with lukewarm water, it brightens your face and your face won't feel so oily or greasy anymore.
It doesn't cause break-outs, fortunately and it's hygienic. Since it is a cleansing balm, it's impossible for this cleansing balm to come in a bottle with a pump or a tube bottle, so scooping out the product with a spatula was the best option (which I don't mind at all).
Not long ago, my mother used this product and oh my goodness, her skin looked so much brighter and whiter. I know I've been using this for 6 months, but since I'm naturally fair and pale, I couldn't tell the difference. Since my mom has a darker skin tone, I could tell this product definitely brightened her skin and makes her skin more moisturised and hydrated because at that time, she was just doing her normal everyday skin care routine + my makeup remover and BAM! She looks whiter already. So in conclusion, it also brightens and whitens your face.

Would I repurchase it? Yes, I would repurchase this again! But I do still want to try some popular makeup removers like Bioderma, Garnier, Neutrogena, etc, but I don't think other makeup removers can defeat Banila Co.'s.

Overall Comment:
So is it worth the hype? DEFINITELY. I love this makeup remover a lot. It is everything, literally everything I look for in a makeup remover. The only downside is that the product packaging is big and bulky so it's not suitable for travelling. I will definitely commit to buying this in the future if I ever dislike Bioderma, Garnier and Neutrogena makeup removers.
