[REVIEW] Origins GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream

Hey guys! I am back with another blogpost!
I was actually debating on which eye cream was better: Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado or Origins GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream.

I heard Origins was better than Kiehl's (but there isn't much of a difference, to be honest) and the price was lower so that's a bonus.
It's smaller, like WAY smaller than I thought.
It has this interesting floral scent when it's opened. Very creamy texture and it has a pink to peach colour. Quite surprising because I expected it to be like white or cream but no, it's pink.

  • Review:
I've tested this out for over a month every single night and I gotta say, my under eyes felt very moisturised and hydrated. Instead of keeping you awake, it makes me want to sleep. It has a slightly cool sensation to it, which relaxes the under eyes and keeps it moisturised. If you have dry eyes, this is good for you.

Though if you are looking for a product that doesn't make the eye bags or dark circles obvious, this isn't the product for you. It just moisturises and hydrates the under eyes, it doesn't help to cover the eye bags or dark circles (even though I expected it to but after testing it out and lots of researching, it doesn't). I was quite disappointed because well, it's very costly for a moisturiser just for the under eyes.

I didn't really mind it because I do not have eye bags, but I do have slightly dark circles around my eyes. The smell is indeed refreshing and yeah.

  • How to apply it onto the under eye?
-Take a tiny amount like this much for both the under eyes like this:
and dab it gently below the eyes or on the under eyes (both of the eyes) like this:
Gently tap on the under eyes until all the product has been fully blended. Do not wipe across the under eye because the product needs to be absorbed properly.
It takes time, but patience is key. This will not hurt your under eyes.
Again, do not wipe across the under eyes because that method is a bit too harsh, especially when your under eyes are one of the most sensitive parts of the face.

  •  Where can you purchase this product?
-Mecca Maxima, Mecca Cosmetica, Kit Cosmetics, Sephora, etc.

  • How much was it?
-$44.00AU

Overall Comment:
Keep in mind that this does not cover the eye bags or dark circles. It only helps to depuff, moisturise and hydrate the under eyes. I would say it's a decent product because honestly speaking, I can survive without this eye cream. I just tried this out because I thought that eye creams are essential to everyone but honestly, my under eyes are already hydrated enough so...
