[REVIEW] Innisfree No-Sebum Mineral Powder

Hey guys! I'm finally back after three weeks (sorry for the MIA, I was having my exams). Anyway, I'm going to review on Innisfree's best-selling powder that almost every Korean beauty guru raves about: Innisfree No-Sebum Mineral Powder!
Innisfree also has another version of this powder, it's the No-Sebum Blur Powder, which has a bit of coverage and the packaging is white in colour. Whereas for this powder, it's completely translucent and the packaging is green in colour.
I am not exactly a big fan of the packaging, to be honest. This product needs to be twisted to be opened, and then you do have to pour the product out from the small holes (as you can see in the picture) onto the lid/powder puff. At least it comes with a powder puff (but I don't use it).
Once you spread out the product evenly, the white powder will blend in and become 100% translucent so it does not have colour at all.

All face powders actually remove excess sebum/oil and mattifies the face. This powder is great, especially for those who have oily to combination skin.
I like this powder. I didn't know it would be my go-to powder at all. Since I have normal to slightly oily skin (my skin was very oily before, but ever since I visited Seoul last December, my face got super dry when I came back and now, it's normal to oily), this powder is my best friend.
It really mattifies the skin, but not to the extent that it will dry up, suck up all the moisture from the skin and leave dry patches. It's quite subtle, but it still is effective. It definitely blurs out my skin as well, so my pores didn't look visible anymore.

It feels very soft and supple, very smooth as well. I think people with dry skin can also use this as well, because it doesn't leave dry patches or cling onto dry patches. Another pro is that it's long-lasting. It really depends though. If you pack a lot of product on your face, it might cling onto dry patches, if you pack a little bit of product (like barely any powder) on your face, you might get oily throughout the day. If you use it to the extent, it'll look cakey, so use it at the right amount.

I usually apply this around early morning, at 6am and then at 6pm when I come back home from my daily activities, my skin doesn't feel oily at all. At the end of the day, my face doesn't feel mattified, but it doesn't feel greasy at all. It just feels normal. I didn't even re-apply any powder in between my days. It doesn't completely mattify because you still have that nice, natural glow (just a little bit).
I, however am not a fan of the packaging, as I already said before. It's not convenient and when you're in a rush, it'll be your worst enemy. You have to twist open the product, pour the powder onto the lid and pick up the powder with powder puff or brush and pack it on your face, unlike some powders like Rimmel's Stay Matte Face Powder, you can just open the lid and directly pack it on.

Since this is a lose powder, it definitely gets very messy, especially when you rotate it 180 degrees or flip it upside down, it's impossible for the powder to not pour out of the small holes and get messy and powder-y everywhere.

Also, I don't like the scent, but this is just my preference. You might like it, if you smell it though. It reminds me of antibiotics, which smell and taste bad. It also smells like the hospital, to be very honest.

The good thing is, this was very affordable and it contains natural products like Jeju natural minerals and natural originated mint. I really like products that contain a big percentage of natural/organic ingredients instead of it being filled with chemicals.

Price: 10,000KRW
Store Location: Innisfree store branches, InnisfreeWorld.com (online)
Size/Amount of Product: 5g
Would I repurchase this? No, but I do like this powder, but once I am finished with this, I will purchase a pressed powder instead of a lose powder (because it doesn't get messy)

Pros:
-affordable
-remove excess sebum
-suitable for all skin types
-not too cakey (unless used in excessive amount)
-quite subtle
-natural ingredients/doesn't contain chemicals

Cons:
-inconvenient packaging
-unpleasant scent (my preference)
-gets messy/powder gets/flies everywhere

Overall Comment:
I like this product and I don't mind the scent, mainly because the smell disappears after you start applying the product. It's affordable, it does its job well and contains natural ingredients. If you're looking for a nice lose powder that doesn't break you out, this could be your best friend.
