[REVIEW] BH Cosmetics Shaaanxo 18 Eyeshadow + Lipstick Palette

Hi everyone! I am back with another review and this time, it's an eyeshadow and lipstick palette! Woot woot!

BH Cosmetics makes amazing products that are high quality but very affordable. They provide international shipping and recently, their products are available on UltaBeauty.

Shaaanxo a.k.a Shannon, one of the most popular beauty gurus from New Zealand collaborated with BH Cosmetics which launched around April 2016.
This palette comes with 9 eyeshadow shades on one side of the palette and the other side has 9 lipstick shades. I thought the packaging was very innovative, interesting and travel-friendly. It's in a nice cardboard type of packaging, which I always liked.

Here is how the 9 color eyeshadow palette looks like:

So let's get on with the review!

EYESHADOW

I was so thrilled with the results of this eyeshadow palette. I never really trust drugstore eyeshadows as they always turn out to be too sheer or not pigmented, too many fall-outs and blends unevenly. This palette, however broke boundaries for drugstore eyeshadow palettes because this is just as good as other high-end eyeshadow palettes I've used like the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Eyeshadow Palette and Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette, which is so mind-blowing.
I used shade #1, #2, #3, #6 and #8

The first thing I noticed was that the size of the pans were really big (which is a bang for your buck) for both the eyeshadow and lipstick palette.

It was so pigmented, except for the first shade of the palette, which I was quite disappointed with, but the rest were so pigmented. The blend-ability power is so outstanding and all the colours blend so well with each other. I like how Shannon was able to pick the colours out so nicely, and she made it all work together, unlike some other eyeshadow palettes that are questionable. The colours are able to compliment with each other, which you can't really find a lot of eyeshadow palettes like this one.

The lasting power is really excellent, it lasted the whole entire day, and it did not budge, move around or fade away AT ALL. The eyeshadows were so creamy, soft, easy to blend, did not have any fall-outs, not drying and feels comfortable/lightweight on my lids.
The first shade is a matte creamy warm light peach sandy shade, which is a great brow bone highlight, if you're not into the shimmery or glowy brow bone highlight.

The second shade is a shimmery light champagne shade, which is perfect for the inner tear duct or inner corners of the eyes as well as a shimmery brow bone highlight and for the center of the eyelid.

The third shade is a shimmery deep rose gold champange shade, which is perfect for the center of the lids. This is definitely my favourite shade in this palette because it's so gorgeous and absolutely pigmented with just one swipe.

The fourth shade is a matte warm tangerine neutral orange shade, which is a very unique eyeshadow colour (as I've never seen this kind of colour in an eyeshadow palette). It'll look beautiful on the crease and it's a perfect for that transition shade.

The fifth shade is a shimmery neutral coppery shade, which is probably the most pigmented shade in the palette. It's a really beautiful dark colour, which can be applied all over the lid for a smoky eye look.

The sixth shade is a matte warm brick reddish-brown shade, which is perfect for the outer corners of the eyes or even on the center of the lid. This is my second favourite eyeshadow colour in this palette.

The seventh shade is a shimmery cool-toned silvery purple taupe shade, which is perfect for that smoky eye look as well. This is my third favourite shade in this palette.

The eight shade is the coolest shade out of all. It's a shimmery duo-chrome with a warm base and has green and blue reflects, which is unbelievably mouth-watering. Perfect for that smoky eye look as well.

The last shade is a matte cool-toned deep grey-ish black with a bit of silver shimmer shade. It's a great outer corner shade for that smoky eye look.

LIPSTICK

The lipsticks however, were just okay for me. They were creamy and moisturising, which is a pro and I really liked that about these lipsticks. Some lipsticks were quite sheer, some were quite pigmented. The shades that Shannon chose were very pretty and has different types of lipstick shades like oranges to burgundy to plums to nudes.
Unfortunately, as expected, they were not as long-lasting as I had hoped. They only faded after I ate my meals during the day. Most cream lipsticks tend to lose their lasting power so it's not too bad.

I used shade #1

It's not drying at all and it feels comfortable on my lips. I also really like the formula of these lipsticks, because they don't feel sticky or tacky.

The first shade is a muted peachy nude that is great for everyday wear. It's perfect for the spring and summer time.

The second shade is a bright coral shade. It's also great for the spring and summer time.

The third shade is a vert bright reddish-orange shade, which is a classic colour. This is one of my favourite lipstick shade in this palette.

The fourth shade is a deep nude shade, also perfect for everyday wear and can match with any eye-look (day or night, neutral or bright).

The fifth shade is a lilac mauve purple shade which is quite muted but bright at the same time. Perfect for fall and winter.

The sixth shade is the brightest colour of all in this palette and it's a bright bubblegum pink, which I also like to refer it to as a 'Barbie Pink'. It's a really fun colour and you'll definitely stand out in the crowd if you were to wear that.

The seventh shade is a very light nude, which is perfect for everyday wear as well. Unfortunately, this shade matched my lips' natural colour so it does not look any different with or without this lipstick colour.

The eighth shade is a deep burgundy wine colour, which is really dark and gorgeous. It's perfect for fall and winter. It'll look amazing, especially if you're going for that vampy, mysterious and dark look. One of my favourite lipstick shade in this palette.

The last and final shade is a deep plum colour, which is, again perfect for fall and winter. It's a perfect vampy shade lipstick, if you're not into the whole burgundy, wine shade.
Overall, I think these lipsticks were very beautifully made and created by Shannon. They all fit in the colour palette very well and they all have different types of shades and colours to choose from. They're all really pretty, suitable for all skin tones and they're travel-friendly.
The only downside to this is that you'll need a lip brush (but you can also use your hands, but it'll be difficult and tough to create the cupid's bow).
One pro that I really want to stress about is that it's really easy to mix and match the lipsticks. You can even create a different colour by mixing two colours together or even three.

Overall Comment:
I really like this palette a lot. There aren't many flaws, which is an upside and I really did enjoy using this palette. Frankly, I loved this palette because it's made of cardboard and I can flip the cover in both sides (which is seriously fun, I know, I'm really odd and peculiar). They're all pigmented (well, most of them), easy to work with, comfortable on the eyes and lips and the packaging is really innovative and creative.
